<h3>Occupational Description</h3><br>No Change<br><h3>Licensure Requirements</h3><br>A person applying for licensure as a professional landscape architect must submit an application and pay the required fees to the Nebraska State Board of Landscape Architects. Applicants must meet the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB) Standards of Eligibility.Exceptions: If an applicant has not satisfied the Examination Standard of the CLARB Standards of Eligibility, but received their initial licensure by grandfather clause, is in good standing, and has a minimum of three years of experience at the time of the application to the Nebraska board, the examination requirement may be waived; orIf the applicant has a minimum of fifteen years of licensed experience in good standing, the examination and/or education requirements may be waived.<br><h3>Fees</h3><br>Initial License Application Fee: $100 (Individual has never been licensed and is seeking their very first license)Comity/Reinstatement License Application Fee: $300 (Individual is already licensed in at least one other jurisdiction and is seeking licensure in Nebraska for the first time or has been licensed in Nebraska previously and the license has been expired for over a year.)Examination Fees: Determined by the exam administrator<br><h3>Renewal</h3><br>Beginning with licenses expiring December 31, 2021, will be transitioning to a biennial period. To accommodate this, licensees with last names beginning with A-L will renew for one year at $150 and licensees with last names beginning with M-Z will renew for two years at $300.Renewal Fee starting with licenses expiring December 31, 2022: $300 bienniallyLate Fees: 10% of the renewal fee each month late, not to exceed the amount of the regular renewal fee. After one year, a reinstatement application is required along with meeting the current licensing requirements in place at that time.
